Baby Joseph

I've got fed up of coming down the stairs slowly so I've come up with a quicker method. Don't try this at home folks. It requires adult supervision.

Christmas

Christmas is great. You get an obscene amount of toys! I don't know where to start and where to finish. Daddy had to work so Mummy took me to Aunty Catherine's and Uncle Jeff's. We had Christmas dinner - Yum!

Goodnight. God Bless.

Can you see me from Heaven?
Goodnight Grandma.
God bless.
Keep watching - there's much more to come.

You've been framed

Catalogue model? Casual, sports and Christmas.

I think I have the casual pose and the sports model sorted but that man in the red suit is a bit strange looking. He put me off posing. What's all that facial hair about?
Still, I am led to believe he's quite a generous person at this time of year so maybe he's not that bad after all.
I might even smile next time we meet.
Mummy and Daddy have put a tree up in the house!!! This Christmas thing is confusing me.

Acorn Farm

Yesterday I felt much better - after a nice nap - and we all went to the farm to feed the chickens, goats and sheep. I went riding again - so how much will my pony cost to buy and keep!!!

Trick or treat.

There was going to be a spooky Halloween Party at Nursery but I didn't feel well so mummy took me home to scare daddy - he thought he'd have to look after me all day!

Climb the stairs.......end up behind bars!

On the 1st of October I went to see the health visitor to see how I am progressing.
I was 79.5 cm tall and 23.8 lbs. So the answer was . . . not too bad thanks.
I think it has to do with all the fresh air I'm getting in my quad bike and all the exercise I get climbing the stairs! I don't like ending up behind bars though.

My Birthday

I am 1.

It's my Birthday. In accordance with Royal birthdays I had two! On on Wednesday at Nana's house and one on Saturday at Mummy and Daddy's house. Two birthday parties means two cakes and lots and lots of presents!
On Saturday I was up before seven to see my Birthday card shown on CBeebies! It took Mummy and Daddy a long time to make and colour in so they were more pleased than I was that it was shown.

I'm crawling - everywhere! So watch out!

I think mummy and daddy thought I wouldn't crawl as I didn't like being on my tummy and I like to stand up. But once you get the knack and realise that you can cause more trouble by crawling - who wouldn't!!
Mummy and daddy can't take their eyes off me now! I've discovered I can get to the stairs, the fireplace, the kitchen and outside by crawling. They keep using the words - "No William" - so I turn and smile. I stop doing what I was going to do - I can always try again five minutes later! "No William!"
I've got my first cold. Apparently there is no cure for the common cold yet so I'm going to get lots more. I'm not impressed.

I'm a creep !!

Not in the sense you might first assume. I almost have my crawling licence. I 'm now far more mobile and can get from the centre of the room to the first major obstacle. Or whatever attracts my attention most. Mummy and Daddy will have to start thinking more about home safety. My favourite objective at the moment is the fireplace. There are lots of nice ornaments!!
I've been to nursery twice now. Only for an hour each time to get used to it. For the rest of this month I'll be going two afternoons a week.
After a busy day creeping and crawling I like to brush my gnashers before a nice bath.

My Baptism

My Baptism

On Sunday I was Baptised at St Julie's. I am now officially William Matthew Dutton - Prince of Sutton. (Prince of Sutton is not a legally official title)
I quite enjoyed being upside down and having the water poured over my head.
Grandad thought Father Tom was a natural with me and asked how many children he had!!!!
I still love my bouncy chair even though I've outgrown it by five months and several pounds.
The next big event will be my birthday next month. More presents - hurrah!!!

Blackpool.

Today Mummy and Daddy took me to Blackpool with Nana. I'm too small and too young to go on "The Big One" but they had the biggest rocking horse I've ever seen. I'm only nine months old so I haven't actually seen that many rocking horses but I expect I won't see much bigger. I bet Mummy wouldn't like to muck out this one. Daddy says rocking horse manure is very rare though.
It was a busy and very tiring day so I was glad to get home to have my tea, a bath and go to bed.

My own space . . . . . at last.

On the 2nd of June I moved out into my own room. It's nice to have your own space. It's not as if my toys and things have taken over the whole house making it look like one big nursery!

I have four top teeth now which popped out with a lot less pain than my bottom two. I knew it was too good to be true though. I'm back into the old routine as some more bottom teeth are on their way - floods of drool. We went to visit farmer Ted last Sunday. I didn't see farmer Ted but I took his tractor for a test drive. It was a very tiring day so I slept all the way home.

With my energy levels back to full it was time to dive into my ball pool.

Dada

Watching "In the night Garden" has certainly helped my vocabulary expand. With a great deal of repetition from mummy I can now say "Dada".
