I am 2

Today Mummy and Daddy took me to the park to get some fresh air . . . . and to relax.

Yesterday was my second birthday and it was hectic! I like birthdays! You get so many presents that you don't know what to do, where and when to do it or who with.

I was like a human dynamo. Mummy and Daddy expected me to have a nap but it didn't happen until 4pm when I finally decided it would be a god idea to have a nap so I could stay up really late!

I have started on the housing ladder and now have my first car. Luckily there is no mortgage or loads on either!

Thankyou to everyone for my presents! I am very lucky. And very tired!

Simonswood Riding Club

On Sunday we went to Simonswood Riding Club. It was my first show. Luckily James was a very experienced pony. He looked great. And some might say I looked pretty terrific too! Mummy had bought me my very own saddle!

The class was supposed to begin at ten so we all entered the ring. But what happened to the judge? We went round and round . . . . . and round and round! Still no judge!

I don't know whether the pressure got to me but I got a little fed up of waiting and went for a nap - still in the saddle!

When I woke up I found out that we had won a rosette. James had let me keep it as it was my very first rosette.

Then we recreated the days events at home - complete with me pretending to fall asleep at the reins!!!!!

Theme Parks

Yesterday we went to Drayton Manor. It's a theme park. I didn't know what a theme park is. There are lots of rides in different parts of the park. We concentrated on "Thomas Land". When I say concentrate what I mean is that it was that busy we didn't have time to do anything else. You queue for an hour to go on a ride that lasts about two minutes! I think queues are an important part of theme parks. You queue to get into the park. You queue to park in the park. You queue to get food and you queue to go on the rides. Luckily the weather was really nice so I had a very good time. I think I will go back again when the queues aren't such an important part of the experience.

LLANGOLLEN - That's easy for you to say . . . . .

. . . but as my language skills improve the last thing I need is all these Welsh words confusing me. Double Ls that sound like KL! I thought Daddy was choking!

Today was my first trip to Wales and my first ride on a "Choo Choo". Not just any "Choo Choo". It was only Thomas the Tank Engine.

Unfortunately due to congestion on the way there we weren't able to go on one of the longer train journeys. Hopefully Mummy and Daddy will take me back "Soon Soon"!
